Monument Re today releases its financial results for the reporting period ending 31st December 2019, with the following disclosures provided:

• Year End 2019 Group Audited Consolidated Financial Statements

Monument Re has an established track-record of acquiring life insurance portfolios across Europe. Since incorporation, fourteen transactions have been signed which deliver the Company’s strategy to build and grow the Ireland, Benelux and the Channel Island platforms (phase 1 targets of the roll-out), while continuing to develop further opportunities in the EU. The financial results for the period ending 31st December 2019 do not include transactions subject to regulatory approval or those which signed after the reporting date, and it is noted that these transactions will have a material impact on the Group financial position.
