Project Delivery Specialist GVM – FTC
About the role
Looking for an exciting opportunity to deliver transformational change in a growing and dynamic insurance company? We are looking for an experienced change specialist to support the development of our new Group Vendor Management operating model. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape Monument’s growth strategy, which relies on sourcing, on-boarding and building deep partnerships with great vendors including TPAs, Fund Administrators, IT security providers and other business critical partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the project team in developing end to end Vendor Management processes, ways of working and the transition to a new Group Vendor Management function;
- Developing strong collaborative relationships with key senior stakeholders throughout Monument Group’s operating entities and business teams to understand and develop the business handoff between Group Vendor Management, local entities and other group functions;
- Support in the development of system requirements, tools and templates to support new ways of working;
- Support in the development of KPI’s & KRI’s that will measure the functions performance and monitor opportunities for continuous improvement;
- Develop inward reporting coming from local entities and support in the implementation of same;
- Support the Project Manager in the roll out of outsourcing oversight processes in multiple local entities within the group;
- Support these local entities to embed new outsourcing and vendor management practices into BAU including the development roles and responsibilities for each party;
- Take learnings from each implementation, update and refine the process and apply to subsequent implementations;
- Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to develop and progress Vendor Management targets as Monument continues to expand and mature.
Role Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in the roll out of a Target Operating Model; establishing end to end processes, defining interfaces with local operations and key stakeholders;
- Exceptional Stakeholder management skills. Balancing competing local operational requirements while maintaining group vendor management, IT and operational standards and processes;
- Proven experience in commercial resolutions and problem solving with vendors to achieve the best outcomes for Monument;
- Exceptional people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and work with colleagues and team members in different countries/offices and across functions;
- Demonstratable understanding of regulated outsourcing along with an ability to apply various local outsourcing regulations, Solvency II requirements (inc. equivalence) and EBA, BMA and EIOPA guidelines;
- Experience in the oversight of the end-to end Vendor Management lifecycle and delivering senior level reporting on same;
- Experience working within a life insurance business is highly desirable;
