Project Management Office Support

About the role

Looking for the opportunity to support a portfolio of strategic change and integration for an ambitious, energised and rapidly growing company?  We need a PMO with first class people management and organisational skills to assist in our most important change and integration projects.   You may be involved with the integration of a recent acquisition, the delivery of a process enhancement, an automation project or setting up a new office in a new jurisdiction.  Whatever the challenge you will be part of the change function leading from the front working with a talented pool of both local and group wide colleagues. 

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the collation of central status reporting ensuring projects are planned, coordinated and executed in a consistent manner;
  • Prepares papers for key governance meetings. Setting of agendas, recording key actions and decisions to distribute after;
  • Monitors progress against integrated plan and workstreams/milestones (of workstreams) on a critical path.  This requires engagement with stakeholders across all levels;
  • Gathers, combines and shares project information to establish detailed and realistic timelines where key stakeholders are held accountable for outcomes;
  • Tracks and reports on project budget;
  • Supports by ensuring agreed and consistent project delivery processes are being followed; 
  • Supports by ensuring agreed good project audit governance is adhered to; and
  • Works with the team to deliver as a team.

Role Requirements

  • Proactive team player, able to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment working across multiple stakeholders and portfolios;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work to business-critical and regulatory deadlines;
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels with excellent communication, interaction and influencing skills;
  • Strong prioritisation and time management attributes;
  • Excellent presentation and facilitating skills;
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint (as a reporting tool);
  • Self-motivated and able to find innovative, practical solutions to challenges; and
  • Previous work experience in a project management office and/or a professional qualification is an advantage, but exposure to a project delivery environment is a must.
