Support and Reporting Analyst – Liège – Belgium

About the role

Monument has a unique and successful business model in the insurance sector that consists in acquiring Life Insurance Businesses.To support our further growth, we are currently looking for a Support & Reporting Analyst with fluency in French and English to strengthen our Operations team in Liège.

Responsibilities

As a Support & Reporting Analyst you will be part of the Support & Reporting team (currently made up of 4 people) within the Operations team in Liège and you will report to the Support & Reporting Manager. You will support all required operational reporting and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and of the policy database used for the management of life insurance portfolios. You will thus play a key role in supporting operational teams and ensuring their liability of data and reporting tools.
You will have the following responsibilities: 
▪ Support all required reporting and declarations to be done (Sigedis declarations, fiscal reporting, AML, FATCA-CRS, reinsurance, etc);
▪ Develop and maintain internal reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI);
▪ Participate in the automation and documentation of reporting processes.
▪ Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and of the policy management system (identify needs, coordinate the implementation of solutions with IT and Change, inform and train users of the policy management system on new developments);
▪ Assist policy administrators in case of system bugs or issues, helping to identify and escalate problems efficiently; 
▪ Collaborate with all internal and external parties involved (such as Operations, IT, Change, etc) by developing a relation of trust.▪ Provide support for other more operational tasks within the team.

Role Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor Degree in economics, management, computer science or similar;
  • Experience in the insurance sector and knowledge of second-pillar insurance is an asset;
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point). Good knowledge of Power BI is an asset;
  • Professional knowledge of French and English, Dutch is an asset;
  • Analytical mind, attention to detail, solution-oriented
  • Autonomous, pro-active, interested in IT and digital tools;
